The mission of Lawson State Community College
Office of Public Relations is to facilitate
communication, both internally and externally,
in a reliable, ethical, and resourceful manner.
The office is committed to developing and maintaining
a positive images of the College by promoting
the educational programs and services of the
College to the external and internal publics.

State Community College.
Linda says, "Compare one
hundred dollars a credit hour at a community
college to 2 to 3 times that at other in-state
universities, some community colleges may
be helpful for those looking to cut costs."

Byrne Awards Scholarship to Lawson State Student
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Teacher, administrator
and entrepreneur – are all entries on
a checklist of career plans for Felicia Renee
Howard. She has now come one step closer to
accomplishing those goals after being selected
for the University of Montevallo’s Kermit
Mathison Scholarship by Bradley Byrne, chancellor
of the Alabama Community College System.
