All Students must undergo a drug screening,
and pass a D.O.T. physical to be eligible to enroll in
the program.

Students are responsible for obtaining the
drug screen and D.O.T. physical.

Students must have 20/40 vision with or
without corrective lenses; and be able to
speak, read, and write; and understand
English.

Students must obtain a Commercial Driver
Learner's Permit. To get the permit,
the student must have an Alabama Driver's
License, provide proof of Alabama residence,
and pass the Commercial Driver's License
written examination.

The qualified-physical form must be received
from one of the Lawson State's
school-sponsored physicians, at least one
week prior to the start of class
m
Students will be responsible for obtaining the CDL
independently.
